Jerusalem Windows

Here are some windows that I found this afternoon in Jerusalem. I don't know what it is that struck me about them - the colors, the flowers, just the general feeling, or something else - but I'm glad that I stopped to take this!

Please feel free to click on the photo to get a more detailed view! And for more Window Views... and Doors, too! check out that great meme, over at Mary's blog. Have a great Wednesday, everyone!

I think it's the variety within the uniformity that makes it interesting. Those ppl on the bottom floor need to get w/ the program though! :)

Nice to see you here, Dena!
Variety within the uniformity is exactly what I meant, and what I might have written, had I not posted this at 1:00 AM.

I like the colours - the warm orange, yellow and red against the tan-coloured building.

I love to see laundry sundrying in the balconies. It gives the place a well lived feel.

@ewok1993 - will you come talk to my landlord re: laundry on balconies?
interesting how the top floor has the laundry, the middle floor the flower pots, and the bottom floor looks bare!

It reminds me of our house in the Philippines, we have a balcony and on the balcony railings we hang our towels or blankets to dry up, ^_^. Great shot!

You definitely know someone is living in a space when the laundry is hanging out to dry. I agree with the "variety within uniformity" feeling of this scene!
