Here we go once more, with a quick catchup of my recent vacation in the States. We spent a few days in Rochester, New York, and I had the pleasure of attending my first minor league baseball game. What a blast! And as a particular treat, I noticed this iconic building in the distance, right from my seat in the stadium:

I'm not sure what ever happened to Kodak, but I'm glad to see that the lights are still on :)

And for those of you who are Israeli architecture fans, here's your quick fix:

Here is the third and final batch of the windows and doors that I found in Tel Aviv, all those weeks ago (see part one and part two of three, if you're interested!).

Did you catch the public water bowl for dogs, above on the right? How sweet! Tel Aviv seems to be the city that leaves no citizen behind...

Here's a little bit more from my Tel Aviv outing last week. What easily made the biggest impression on me were the bicycles - they had their own lanes, ala Amsterdam, and were available to rent all over the place:

The buildings were a fun combination of very old and very new. These photos were all taken on the same street:

But my very favorite were the intimate park benches - how sweet are those?

Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #17

I've been taking a course in Herzliya this past week. The course is interesting, but I've especially been enjoying taking the train to get there. It's a clean, smooth ride, and I really enjoy it!

While waiting between trains at the Savidor station in Tel Aviv, I found myself face to face with this building, making the trip even more worthwhile :)

Check out all those windows! Toto, I don't think we're in Jerusalem anymore :)
