A long lost ruby

When I have a choice, I generally prefer to post current photos. Additionally, I'm a bit torn on the subject of posting pics of my kids - I'm not entirely sure that it's a good idea. And yet, when going through my older stuff, I couldn't resist saving this one, of my daughter, almost ten years ago, to post for Ruby Tuesday:
It's an oldie, but a goodie :)

Do check out more reddish photography of the week at Mary's blog, Work of the Poet. Happy Ruby Tuesday, everyone!

I am scanning many prints from the past - the memories need to be turned to digital, as I do not want to lose them. A cute ruby shot for the ages, she was, and no doubt, is a beauty who enjoys fun too!

I can understand mixed feelings about posting one's kids. This is such a fun, colorful shot.

Aw, that's a sweet smile. I don't know if I would have posted photos of mine when they were younger. They are in college now.

I like the decorations on her face. Rainbow, clouds, sun - what fun!
