Another great meme!

Man, I can't get enough of these memes - can you tell? They lend organization to my chaos, and motivation to my shutter-finger. This one was previously called Window Views, but has recently changed to Window Views... and doors too! I think it's a fun way to spend a Wednesday. Here's mine:

I found this a while back in the German Colony neighborhood of Jerusalem. It seems to me to be a window that has rolled with quite a few punches, to say the least.

Feel free to click on the photo to enlarge it, as always. And do check out more window and door photos here!

You made me smile. Yes, the memes do help create order to my photos, too.

This is a terrific old window - photogenic and perfect for this meme.

Yes that is an old window. the storm shutter doesn't look that it would keep any storm out. However I like the rod iron detail.

That poor window, trying desperately to still show some of its former glory.

wouldn't it be great
if a window could talk
and tell us all it saw.

It looks like Jerusalem...that beautiful stone. I wonder why just one half of the shutters was left hanging there like that....or maybe the other half finally rotted and fell off! It's a wonderful photo.

This window has stood the test of time and it is getting tired...but, what a story it could tell! There is so much character in that window!

It's in dire need of a coat of paint, but I love the look of those old soragim, so much more interesting than the ones we see today (like the hideous prison bars we inherited from the people who previously owned our place).

a very interesting window and great shot. It has so many textures and interesting design elements. I like how you said the meme's organize your chaos and motivate your shutter finger. I feel the same way. :) You just said it very nicely. I think all these people that go to the effort of organizing and hosting these meme's are extra special.

What a speaking photo. The one decrepit shutter reminds me of Todd in the movie Breakfast Club:

"Truth. Truth is like, like a blanket that always leaves your feet cold.

Y-Y-Y-You push it, stretch it, it'll never be enough. You kick at it, beat it, it'll never cover any of us. From the moment we enter crying to the moment we leave dying, it will just cover your face as you wail and cry and scream."

(Now that's a morbid comment, but it really did remind me of that.)
