Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #153

Welcome back to your favorite little meme!
Last week's post took us to Seattle. This week we're moving on to Chicago, the final stop on our summer vacation. We had a wonderful time, and although I grew up in Chicago, I had never been on those boat tours that they have on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. We decided to make up for lost time, and off we went! It was a lot of fun, and we found far, far too many windows and doors to post. Here are some of the highlights...

Remember these from my last Chicago trip?

But really, when I think of Chicago architecture, I think of things like these:

Now it's your turn! Please play along with us here at Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! by posting a photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, linking here, and signing up in the widget, below. Thanks so much for stopping by - have a wonderful week, everyone!

Stunning photos! The modern buildings have their own beauty, but I could not be living in a great city forever - I'm a smalltown girl...

Toby, cities seen from their waterways provide a unique perspective. Thanks for sharing.

This is truly the Windy City, all these grand and stylish buildings allowing the breezy downwash of air to hit us in the face. And we happily accept the ferocious breezes to our face to admire such architectural beauty! The circular building and parking garage/car park reminds me of a scene in the Steve McQueen movie The Hunter where a spectacular car chase takes place going around the curvy garage ramp. Nice looking city!
