Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #12

Wow, that was a fast week! I didn't even have a chance to post, and now we are, back at Monday again. Wow, time does fly when you're having fun :)

Back to the archives for me, and look at these beautiful windows (and doors!) that I found for you this past June! These are very nearby Mahane Yehuda, Jerusalem's open market:

How did I never post these? They're wonderful! And the way each floor has its own style of windows reminds me of the Colosseum :)

Please join us as we play along in our sweet new meme, Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! All you have to do is post a photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and then sign up in the widget below. And of course, don't forget to go and visit the other players! It's fun to see the things you'll find, from all over the globe. Have a great week, everyone - thanks so much for coming by!

Love the Mediterranean architecture - the curved arches sitting in the pale pink stone. Far different than in New England, a timeless architecture that probably looks similar to 1000 years ago. Even the awnings are classy. Very nice!

Some of us have trouble reading the word verification. I had to do it twice before my comment was posted. Would you consider deleting that element?

The tall arched windows are always a nice attraction. I like the balconies, too.

there is no linky up, but my post is

Blogger seems to have changed something in the past week - they've made the word verifications much harder. I've also had a hard time figuring them out - I once had to try three times before I was able to prove myself human to them... I certainly don't want to add to that stress - I'll see if there's something I can do! Thanks for pointing it out!

I'm not sure why you couldn't see the linky, but I've added you on. Maybe Simply Linked isn't as great as we thought :)

Thanks, Ralph! I agree, our parts of the world have *very* different looks :)

Oh, lovely! Now I'm feeling whimsical about Jerusalem, and just thinking of all those gorgeous vegetable stalls just around the corner!

I think I managed to get rid of the word verification! Please let me know if any of you have any more trouble with it.

Oh not not you having trouble with this wretched word verification as well it is driving me mad, both on others blogs and my photography one and it is not even supposed to be there!
Anyway apart from all that I am delighted to be joining this meme for the first time today and am off to visit the other participants shortly.

Welcome aboard, LindyLouMac! Lovely to have you here with us :)

The word verifications were driving me nuts all week, and my sweet husband helped me find this video that shows how to get rid of them:

I couldn't find the option to switch them off since I have the newer look of Blogger, but there's an option in settings to switch back to the old look. When I did that, I was able to switch the verifications off! And then I just switched back to the new look afterward :)

Good luck!
