Rubies in the shuk, Take II

You may recall the shuk, Jerusalem's huge open market. Well, Dave and I happened to be there again this past week, and I found - cherries! Check these out - have you seen a better candidate for Ruby Tuesday?

Those both look even better close up - feel free to click on the photos to get a better view!

Naturally, I'm posting these to Ruby Tuesday, Mary's ever popular weekly meme. Go there right now to see more reddish photography from all over the world. Happy Tuesday, everyone!

It's like viewing an exotic feast when viewing cherries en masse! Great photos!

Perfect rubies for RT! In season, large and with an amazing blend of tartness and sweetness in each bite. In season in New England is still a ways off, so the view will have to suffice for now!,

I love that market with a PASSION.It is a rainbow of fruit and veg and personalities and noise and laughter. Thanks for posting the cherries. Wow. Where are they grown? Is it warm enough in the Galil?

Yum yum yum. I MUST get to the greengrocer tomorrow - there's a box of cherries there with my name on it for sure!
