Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #100, baby!

Wow! We've reached triple digits in our fun little meme!
I was trying to think which windows and doors were possibly worthy of this post, when it occurred to me that since y'all seem to like photos of Jerusalem, perhaps you'd like the most classic photos of Jerusalem: those of the Old City walls. And so, with no further ado:

Here I spotted a satellite dish through an arrow-slit, which I thought was kind of cool - you know, the whole old-vs-new thing:
Meanwhile, my husband, who was standing a foot and a half to the right of me thought I was getting a shot of this silhouette, which I hadn't been able to see at all! Just goes to show that a little bit of perspective goes a long way :)
That guy was standing so still, we figure he must have been a statue or something...

Anyway, that's all for today, folks! Thanks for making these past hundred posts all the more fun - here's looking forward to the next hundred!

To participate in Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! just post your photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and sign up in the widget. Then go and visit the other players, that's the most fun of all :) Have a wonderful, whimsical week, everyone!

The ancient architects and builders were amazing in their works - imagine that without CAD or cranes ans such could build such a massive structure. Despite the Romans, that much of it stands today is a testament to superb design and craftsmanship that existed way before computers...

Congrats on the first 100 posts of this fine meme!

congratulations on reaching 100!
My first impression of the slits in the second photo were that they reminded me of large candle holders.
