Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #59

Here we are, back for another week of our favorite little meme!
It's been a very busy and exciting week for us here in Israel, and even moreso in my neighborhood, and even moreso in my household! First, Israel was hit with a massive rainstorm, just what our country loves. Then, it got so cold that on the highest mountaintops (mine included), the rainstorm turned into a huge blizzard! And meanwhile, completely unrelated, my household adopted a snow-white little dog :)

Here's are some of the local windows that one can see from my kitchen window, during the storm:
Here is a shot of our lovely terraced hills, dressed in their finest white:
Here is a photo of the front door of my office this morning, a good 3-4 days after the storm, and still showing off some snowy remnants:
And last but not least, here is my husband during the snow with his new furry assistant:
That about covers it!
Now it's your turn! To participate in Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! just post your photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and then sign up in the widget, below. I can't wait to see what you've found for us this time! Have a wonderful week, everyone - and stay warm!

I don't think of snow and its effect on Israel - but I do now! A snowy countryside is beautiful though, the fresh white powdery precipitation acting as a canvas for fine art. The canine family member is cute and just the thing to bond with in the cold days...Nice post!

It looks beautiful with a dusting of snow! Here's it's been very cold at night...no snow though! Enjoy the windows and doors.

I was in the old city of Jerusalem during the last big snow dump in January 2008. It fell overnight the night before I had to get a plane the following morning. It was a real adventure getting to the airport at 5am! The Nesher taxi took 2.5 hours to make the trip!

So pretty! Your snow last twice as long as ours.
Enjoy your new doggie.
