A ruby red (well, pinkish) friend in our window!

My house is turning into a zoo of sorts. First a bunny, and now a new guest, who appeared yesterday on our windowsill:

She left at one point for a couple of minutes, and my daughter spotted two eggs under there! How exciting!
For more reddish photography, go check out Mary's blog, Work of the Poet. She hosts Ruby Tuesday, that super-fun meme, each and every week! Thanks, Mary! And Happy Tuesday, everyone!

oh she's lovely, toby! Mourning doves have the lovliest, soft "coo." Yes she's slightly pink and it's fine for Ruby Tuesday! :)
