Another cloudy day

Man, I do miss wintry sunsets. Although the dust over the past few weeks has made for dramatic views. Not as colorful and sensational as their winter cousins, but dramatic nonetheless:

But I very much enjoy the long days and the short sleeves of summer :)

Go right now to see more sky-oriented photography, at Skywatch Friday! Have a great weekend, everyone!

What an interesting capture, Toby! I grew up in an area that had frequent sandstorms and this brought a lot of memories. Hope you have a lovely weekend -- maybe without a sandstorm!!

I guess you get a lot of dust from Africa! I hope there are clear skies in your near future.

'Dusty' shots of the sun are always fascinating because the sun resembles the moon.

Wasn't that dust awful? I had to add textures to my photo to disguise the fact that the sky was completely white. Yick. You did get a cool photo out of it at least though.
