It sure has been a while since I participated in Skywatch Friday! But a couple of mornings ago, when I found the moon peeking out behind the morning fog that we've had for the past few weeks, I just couldn't resist grabbing my camera!
First, here's the fog, across the valley from my house:
and then, suddenly, look who took a last bow before setting below the hills!
That was totally unexpected, and a lot of fun :)
For more sky-oriented photography, go check out Skywatch Friday, right now! Thanks for stopping by - have a great weekend, everyone!

Great SWF post!
Well done!
Not sure which is the more playful - the moon or the fog! Great views.
Wow, wonderful photos, Toby. I love seeing those beloved terraced hills too, but the moon and the fog are really special.
Just lovely!
Glad you grabbed your camera! The moon appears to be sitting on a pillow of fog! Great photos.
Never seen that before. Great photos.
Oooh, ooh, wonderful! Great captures. Shabbat Shalom.
Beautiful Toby… good Shabbas!
