Here we are again, back at your favorite little architectural meme!
I apologize for the delay in posting - our house has been very busy, and although I made sure to get a shot of something that I had wanted to share for a while now, I just wasn't able to stay awake last night to post on time :)
Here we have it, though, at last: a newly built yeshiva very near to my workplace. After almost a year of construction, it's finally finished, and jam packed with all sorts of windows and doors! Check this out:
So interesting, right? They've got so much going on here, it's almost as if they just couldn't choose which style they liked, and decided to accept all suggestions. It's a little bit wacky, but I think I like it! I especially like the sun shade on the roof, I'm always a big fan of sitting on rooftops :)
Now it's your turn! To participate in Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! just post your photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and sign up in the widget below. Thanks for coming by, and have a wonderful week!

I really like the look of that place, but I would never get any studying done, I'd be too busy looking out of the windows!
My photos this week are a bit more random, more to do with window shopping:-)
With love from the Windy City.
A nice new big yeshiva. The students will have lots of light to study by, with all those windows.
I also enjoy that they of course followed the ancient biblical "building code" --
Deuteronomy 22:8
"When you build a new house, you shall make a parapet for your roof, so that you will not bring bloodguilt on your house if anyone falls from it."
This si beautiful - it is grand in stature, the art inset is bold and the windows not only let in a lot of light to enhance the learning within. An important place for education, and its mighty style reinforces its mission well!
Wow, I like the windows but my eye is really drawn to that amazing mural, with Jacob's ladder and angels ascending and descending and wonder about the symbolism of the rest of it...the tree, etc. Beautiful!
