Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #49

Welcome back to your favorite little meme!
Here's the front door of another house in the same neighborhood as the one I posted last week. Lovely, don't you think? Not very wheelchair friendly, though :(
I do like the looks of this, though - something about the formidable Jerusalem stone, contrasted with the light wood and flowers here, makes this very appealing to me.

And now it's your turn! To participate in Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! just oost your photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and sign up in the widget. Thanks for playing along with us - have a great week!

Interesting door with the boards going horizontal on one side and vertical on the other!

The architecture in your neighborhood is so stylish with the beautiful stone and tile roofs. The turret shaped veranda with its arches is stunning. A very nice find!

It does look very well built!

I can't help thinking how dark the foyer must be with no windows anywhere. dark, but cool, I guess.

I can't get enough of Jerusalem stone. We aren't allowed to build with stone here because of the earthquakes, but I do miss it.

Stone and tile. Building materials that speak strength.
