Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #93
Here we are, back again for your favorite little meme!
As you may recall, we're still catching up a bit with some of the windows and doors that we saw on our recent trip to the US. Here are some that I found in Washington DC. Did you know that the Washington Monument was under scaffolding? Impressive nonetheless!

I've also got a combo Israel/U.S. post. Washington, DC is full of interesting architecture. I love the old windows of Israel (probably 19th century stuff is my guess, not really ancient).
DC is lovely, although I haven't been there in decades, I do want to go back - perhaps next summer and I understand it to be wheelchair friendly. The monuments in DC are classic and beautiful and in Jerusalem, a city with a far older heritage, the walls and windows are even more classic. Great finds in two very important cities!
This made me giggle, as when we were in DC earlier this summer every glimpse we got of the Washington Monument my kids quoted (NSFW comedian) Jeff Dunham - "it looks nothing like the guy". (There's a slightly racier ending to that joke but I banned them from repeating, especially the younger one who had no idea what she was saying.)

Robin - I too, have fallen out of blogging, aside from this little meme, which keeps me a tiny bit active. Here's hoping it's a good year for both of us, with just the right amount :)
