Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #90

I'm back from vacation! And so is your favorite little meme!

I'm not sure what just happened, I wrote a whole post, dozed off, and when I woke up, it was gone. So I'm going to try to do this quickly :)
We had a great trip! I want to share the (many) windows and doors that I found while traveling in the US, but I know that you enjoy seeing photos from here in Israel, too, so I'll be sure to end off with some of those, too :)
Our trip involved many cities, but our first stop was Chicago. Here are just a few of the windows and doors that I found while there!

These, to me, really look like iconic Chicago windows: 

And look at these crazy fire escapes! I would not want to be there in an emergency...

Believe it or not, I kept coming across this wacky idol-like thing at the top of some building! Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who can see things like this :)
 

You've been quite patient, so let's end off with a little bit of Jerusalem. Here are some views of our Supreme Court building, conveniently located right across from the dog park that we visited a couple of months ago :)

 

Huh, I guess you guys have been right all along, those really do look pretty different from their US counterparts :)
