We're back again for this week's installment of your favorite new meme, Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! This week I have a very very old doorway for you - get ready:
I took these this past week, as we were waiting to get into an amazing light show on the walls of Migdal David, the Tower of David. After we got in, I was asked not to take any photos, so although the gardens were beautiful, I guess you'll have to come to Jerusalem if you want to see them!
Now it's your turn! To participate in Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors, just post a photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and then sign up in the widget below. It's fun to see what we all have to share! Thanks for playing! And have a great week, everyone!

This tower is stunning! It evokes the very distant past, built to outlast Israel's many enemies, even the terrible Romans. The strength is the true hallmark of its design. Sturdy and strong, it is an amazing place (and I hope the Wiki writeup is accurate). A wonderful post!
Shalom Toby! Love this look at the entrance to the Tower of David! Those Jerusalem stones really glow in the light.
Truly a citadel for the ages. Thanks for sharing.
Oh I love the architecture in the City of Gold! Great shots. Sorry my post is late Toby, but I have been away on holiday. Love from NZ
