We celebrated Yom HaAtsmaut last week, Israel's Independence day! Happy 64th to our little country. Here you can see how our local cars and homes have been decorated with Israeli flags:
On Yom HaAtsmaut, as you may remember, we enjoy hiking around somewhere we haven't been before. Here's the interesting split tree that we found at the end of our hike this year, after climbing a particularly steep hill. Nice shadows, don't you think?
And then on the way home, we found the winner for most decorated car. This must surely be the Prime Minister's vehicle :)
Come see more lovely shadowy photography, here! Have a wonderful week, everyone!

I love that split tree! Yes, you found some very nice shadows.
Such a lovely idea to wander somewhere you have not been on your special day! The fluttering Israeli flags have a feeling of pride and happiness! And love the shadowy tree stump and the view behind!
