A couple of months ago, I took a safety course for work, in a Jerusalem hotel. A bunch of good photos came out of that experience, and I just now found one that I had almost forgotten to post. Aren't these arches lovely? I really like the combination of ancient and modern going on here:

That really is an interesting combination!
The arches combined with the marble tile gives these portals a look of style, elegance and class. I don't know why, but the arch evokes an era that is long gone. The marble looks finer than the usual sheetrock we see on modern interiors. Very nice doors!

Shalom Toby! I love those arches, and that there are three of them...much more dramatic than only one or two.
I really like the contrast in textures of the shiny floor and the nubbly walls.
