Macro Monday - around the office

A few weeks ago they were upgrading something in our electrical setup at work, and we were without electricity for around 45 minutes. I wandered around, taking shots of everyday things and trying to make them a little interesting. I already showed you the outdoor ones, now you get to see the stuff I found indoors. Can you guess what any of these items are?

Feel free to click on any of these, if you'd like an even closer view :)
And please tell me your guesses in the comments!
To see more macro/close-up photography, go check out Macro Monday right now! You'll be glad that you did! Happy Monday, everyone!

Great shots... I like the way a good macro photo can make every day things look so cool!

Let's see...

#1 is the ceiling lights.
I feel like I know what #2 is, but I'm not sure.
#3 is your chair.
#4 is the window shades,
And #5 might be the carpet, but I'm not sure about that.

Hi there Micha!
You're right with one, three and four.
Two is a cloth vertical blind.
And five is not a carpet - but it's my favorite. Anybody out there have another guess?

Very interesting.
Is #5 a Paper Towel?

Everyday things can be made to look really interesting when viewed close-up. And this post demonstrates that.
