Well, they made a new traffic circle near my house, and I love it! I'm a big fan of traffic circles anyway, but this one replaced what had been a particularly dangerous intersection. Now it's safer and I'm happy! And I was even happier when they got ready to plant some greenery in the middle. Look at how cool this is:
Nice, right? I just love the geometry that's going on here. Feel free to click on the photo to enlarge it, and see how many shadows you can find :)
Naturally I'm posting this to Shadow Shot Sunday, beautifully hosted weekly at Hey Harriet. Have a great week, everyone! And don't forget to come back here on Wednesday to participate in the first-ever edition of Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! See you then!

That looks terrific, Toby! I know it will make a lot of difference in your neighborhood AND what a great shadow shot for the day!! Hope your weekend is going well!

There are many shadows, none large but a lot of artistic little ones...in the USA, rotaries/circles are not handled well. Nobody here seems to know how to handle them well; in Massachusetts, the worst designed ones seem all over (W.Springfield, Cape Cod, Quincy). Probably better rotary drivers in Israel - at least I hope :)
Lots and lots of shadows amongst all those little stones!
When the greenery greens up, you'll be green with envy (maybe)!
EVERYWHERE SHADOWS
Shadows above and shadows below,
Shadows that blaze and shadows that glow;
Shadows outside and shadows indoors,
Shadows on trees and shadows on floors;
Everywhere shadows calling my name,
Everywhere shadows no one can tame.

Hope you're having a great weekend.
I have seen a lot of highway circles but nothing to compare to this. Very nicely done.
