Shadow Shot Sunday - at last

Well, I've been trying to get back into the swing of posting a photo every day or two, and it hasn't been easy. I have lots of photos, just no time to sit still and post them, you understand :)

Anyway, when I caught this out of the corner of my eye at work the other day, I said "Toby, that is the best shadow ever! You are just going to have to make some time for it." And apparently it worked, since here I am:

This little guy was crawling on the screen on my office window. I am truly honored that he sat still while I fumbled around for my camera. Thanks, guy!

For more cool shadow photography, go right now to Shadow Shot Sunday, that excellent meme hosted at Hey Harriet. Happy Sunday, everyone!

Yay! I'm so glad that you found the time to grab that awesome shot. And a big thanks to that lizard for being such wonderful subject matter :)

I hope you have a great week!

PS - My word verification was 'thened' so I'm thinking that would be a great name for the lizard. The Ned :)

Silly I know...

What a fantastic shadow shot, Toby! Don't you love it when you're able to catch something like this and totally unexpected? And definitely thanks to the lizard for being so cooperative! Hope you have a great week!

Great shadow, even though it brings back bad memories of slithery things...

love this. very fun. i wouldn't have been able to turn this guy down either. it's so interesting how we have to work to remember not to take for granted what is commonplace for us. i have my share of lizards in my neck of the woods, but i definitely don't live somewhere where i'd find this fellow on my door. thanks.
