Shadowy Trees

Here's another fun shadow shot for that great meme, Shadow Shot Sunday. I found it yesterday, and my kids were kind enough to not complain when I stopped the car to get out and take this:
Nice, right? I hesitate to say it, but I think the shadow is more attractive than the actual tree :) As always, feel free to click on the photo, if you'd like a closer view.
And go right now to see more shadowy photography at Hey Harriet, that most-excellent host of Shadow Shot Sunday. Happy Sunday, everyone!

I do love the shadow of the tree, too! How funny it is that we begin to see shadows everywhere once we start Shadow Shot, and we can see differences in the shadows that we never saw before! I love it! This is really a marvelous one for the day, Toby!! Have a great weekend!

I tend to agree - I like the shadow better than the actual tree. Nice catch Toby.

The shadows are lovely on that gorgeous wall! I like the shadow on the wall's texture.

The shadow looks like a magical bouquet of lace! O so pretty!

Haha! I agree with you about the shadow looking more attractive than the tree! That's often the case I find :) Yay to your kids for allowing you to indulge in shadowy goodness! Hope you all have a super weekend!

I agree too, it does look better than the tree.
Big thank you to your kids for letting you stop the car.

Beautiful shadow Toby...it has it's own elegance...simplified in monochrome.
