Well, kind of. I realized a few days ago that I actually forgot to acknowledge that as of July 4th, I've been blogging here at I Wish I Were A Photographer for exactly one year! (Here's my opening post, for those of you who are interested.) However, although I forgot to celebrate that one, July 23rd marks my first ever Skywatch entry! I think that's a bit monumental too, don't you?
Anyway, in keeping with the custom, here's my Skywatch Friday entry for today. I'm pretty sure it's my 47th!!
Looking back on this year, I'm definitely glad that I started this blog. It really has convinced me that yes, I truly do wish I were a photographer! One day... when I can afford to quit my day job - maybe. In the meanwhile, I very much enjoy finding three minutes here or there to look around for interesting shadows, or doors, or red things, or anything I'd like to share with you all. Thanks so much for riding along with me! And a big thanks to my family, for putting up with me! (Yes, we'll keep driving in a minute, I just want to try to take a picture of that. No, please don't taste that yet, I need to get my camera...)
Do go and check out more sky-oriented photography right now, at this week's Skywatch Friday. Happy Skywatching to us all - have a great weekend, everyone!

Congrats on one full year (plus a little bit more). This is a lovely photo. I LOVE the "star" shape where the sun shines through.

Congratulations on having blogged for a whole year. I'm glad I found your nice blog out here in the blogosphere:)
Have a lovely weekend!/Maria
Mazal tov on the birthday of your blog! You ARE a photographer! That picture is gorgeous! I wish I had just some of your talent. Whenever I take pictures of food it looks like something you would want to feed the dog, no matter how gorgeous it looks in real life.
Happy Blogaversary!
And a lot more beautiful pictures!
Congrats and a very happy anniversary to you! I do enjoy your blog and I'm so glad you started one :)
