Cole Slaw - Macro Monday

Last week, my kids were making us a batch of cole slaw. (Thanks, guys!) At one point, I glanced over at the counter, and was so impressed that I asked them to stop for a second. Here's why:

And do go to Lisa's Chaos, to check out more Macro photography, since it's Macro Monday! Happy Monday, everyone!

They ARE pretty, but I'm a macro love, and the detail of things fascinates me. Well done!

Cut cabbages are so beautiful, and you got a great shot!

When I was studying for my 'O' level art exam, one of the other girls did a painting of a cut cabbage in watercolour. It was just so stunning I nearly lost heart. Luckily, my exhibition piece was woven, not painted, so I couldn't directly compare. LOL!

Very interesting. I haven't thought of it though. The intricately wave of crevices makes it more very stunning.

You are inspiring me to take a closet look at seemingly common items. We never truly see them, do we? Thank you! Great shots.
