Macro Monday
A couple of weeks ago, I found this little flower, waiting to open in front of my house. I'm not sure why, but I couldn't resist taking a shot:
I'm glad that I did - it makes the "after" shot more exciting, I think. Don't you agree? Feel free to click on the photos to enlarge them, and get a better view. And do check out more macro photography of the week, at Lisa's Chaos. Happy Macro Monday, everyone!

Emerging carnations! Fabulous macro and the colors of these are so lovely...perfect for Valentine's Day.
Beautiful shots!
Definitely makes the pair worth more than each individual shot! Yes, I do agree!
What a sweet picture that first one is! And so nicely composed, too.
Beautiful!
YES I agree :) But I like the first one best - it's so delicate :)

I love the before and after. It's as though it popped open right before my eyes!
Lovely carnation macros!
I like both photos. Anticipation and awakening. The opened flower is gorgeous. Looks like a carnation.
