Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #119

Here we are, back for your favorite little meme!
Here are some very local windows, from right here in Efrat. It's a very small boutique hotel, about an 8 minute drive from my house. Like so many buildings in Israel, it looks very, very pretty from one angle, and totally unfinished from another...
I just don't know why they do that...

Anyway - the exciting part of this picture is the part you notice the least - it's cloudy, and actually raining! Yay! Our drought took a day off today :)

Now it's your turn! Please play along with us here at Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors!, it's easy! Just post your photo(s) of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and sign up in the widget, below. Then go and visit the other players, that's the most fun of all! Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful week, everyone!

Looks like the hotel has hopes to expand someday. It reminds me of the old one-story houses that used to leave rebar sticking up out of the roof, for making it easier to add another floor when there was enough money.

Yes, the rare tif-tif sound of rain is wonderful!

Architects seem to design their projects to make a bold statement in the view we see when approaching it head-on. Without considering anything other perspective. Bold seems to be their signature...I hope the comfort and service extends from the finished to the unfinished side of the hotel...Happy to hear about the rain :)

Agree with Ralph. Head-on the building grabs you and draws you in.

It has a rather unfinished look to it.

Here in California, we are getting much needed rain - but not nearly enough.

Hello Toby! I haven't forgotten about Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors and perhaps one of these days I'll join back in, but just want to stop by in the meantime to say shalom!
Interesting about the apparently unfinished buildings - looks like they are/were planning to add more at some point. We hare in Southern California empathize completely with your joy at some much-needed rain.
