Here we are, back once again for your favorite little meme!
Today is June 30th, which in my town means Happy Last Day of Grammar School to you!
Last week, we had the pleasure of attending my daughter's end-of-the-year play. They took a great book, Me'ever Le'Pina (Around the Corner, in English), and adapted it into a fun show, full of color and fun. The main stage featured a lovely set of functional windows and a door, and I couldn't resist grabbing a photo to share with you all:
(As always, feel free to click on the photos, if you'd like a closer view.)
Congratulations to the sixth grade class - well done!
Now it's your turn: to participate in Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! just post your photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and sign up in the widget. It's that easy! Thanks for coming by, and have a wonderful week, everyone! Happy Summer Vacation to us all!

Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #81
Here we are once again, ready for your favorite little meme!
Here is the third and final batch of the windows and doors that I found in Tel Aviv, all those weeks ago (see part one and part two of three, if you're interested!).
We, the pedestrians and bicyclists, waiting at our respective crosswalks:
My destination (mm-mm!):
Did you catch the public water bowl for dogs, above on the right? How sweet! Tel Aviv seems to be the city that leaves no citizen behind...
Here's a closer shot of our little restaurant. It was delicious, by the way - highly recommended!
And a few shots walking back, after dinner:
All in all I had a great time! Tune back in next week for your regularly scheduled Jerusalem-area/Judean Hills photography :)
And now it's your turn! To participate in Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! just post your photo (or photos) of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and sign up in the easy-to-use widget, below. Then go and visit the other players, that's the most fun of all! Thanks for dropping by, and have a wonderful, whimsical week!

Skywatch - a first!
Gentle Reader - can you tell what makes this photo, taken last week, different from all other photos on this blog of mine?
If you answered, "Toby, we think you captured that image with your phone, instead of your camera" then you win the grand prize! Congratulations! I truly, truly never thought this day would come...
For more sky-oriented photography, check out Skywatch Friday - you'll be glad you did! Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #80
Welcome back to your favorite little meme!
Well, I have a few more photos I'd like to post from my trip to Tel Aviv a few weeks back, but I found myself on an unplanned trip to Jerusalem this morning, and actually got a very close-up shot of a building that I've liked for quite some time. So let's take a one week TA break, and check out this Jerusalem action:
This building is called Sha'arei Ha'Ir, which literally means City Gates, and it's located just down the street from the central bus station. I've always admired its gentle curve :)
Now it's your turn! To participate in Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! just post your photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link to it here, and then sign up in the widget. Then come back and visit the other players! You never know what you'll find...

Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #79
Here we are, back again for your favorite little meme!
Here's a little bit more from my Tel Aviv outing last week. What easily made the biggest impression on me were the bicycles - they had their own lanes, ala Amsterdam, and were available to rent all over the place:
The buildings were a fun combination of very old and very new. These photos were all taken on the same street:
But my very favorite were the intimate park benches - how sweet are those?
Awww...
Rock on, Tel Aviv!

Shadow Shot Sunday and Ruby Tuesday Combo!
I made a big pan of grilled vegetables this weekend. Not only was it delicious, it was beautiful, if I do say so myself! And so I couldn't resist taking a photo...
Lucky me, there's some lovely light playing over these veggies, so I'm taking the opportunity to post to Shadow Shot Sunday II, in addition to Ruby Tuesday II. Go check them both out, they're a lot of fun! Have a great week, everyone!
