Happy Almost Passover to all! Thanks for coming by to check out your favorite little meme:
A couple of weeks ago, we were at our local dog park, when I heard some strange noises. I looked just above the park, and to my surprise, the frame of a building was being assembled. In Israel, the vast majority of construction is concrete, so this really took me by surprise! The weather wasn't great, so I came back a few days later when the sun came out a little bit, to show you what's going on. It's wacky - check this out!
Mildly interesting, right? But I could look at the geometry all day long...
I'm so curious to see how this will end up!

I'm with you on this structure - I like what lies underneath a building beyond what the world sees on the outside. With this, I can better imagine what will cover the geometric (and artistic) framing...
When modifications our home for wheelchair access in 1996, I would talk with the contractors and learned about trusses, load bearing walls and things like that I'd never considered before. Architecture is amazing to a non-architect as well!
It reminds me a little of building with a Meccano set! Please keep us updated.
Lesley - will do :)
That sure is different.
