Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #46

Here we are again, ready for our favorite little meme!
Well, it's true, the holidays feel like they ended weeks ago, and we are back in the thick of things. But what things! My youngest daughter's Bat Mitzva is in just under two weeks! We're all bustling around trying to get things ready for her party (anyone out there want to make some cookies?) and having a lot of fun. How exciting! And you'd think that would be enough excitement, but we also just found out that my son needs braces. Wowee. They sent him to have a fancy panoramic x-ray last week. I don't know if you recall, but I went to the same clinic about half a year ago, and was impressed enough with the location to stop and take some photos. Anyway, since we've changed the clocks already, it seemed like nighttime when we were there at 6:00 PM, and the building was really impressive all lit up! Check this out, doesn't it look like a hotel or something?
I realize that this photo doesn't look anything like that previous one. This is a front view, and after you walk in, the dental x-ray clinic is all the way at the back of the building. That makes the building even more interesting, I suppose - next time I'll try to walk around to the other side to see what that part looks like at night! I *will* try to stop by - but sometime after the Bat Mitzva :)

Now it's your turn! To participate in Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! just post a photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and sign up in the widget. I can't wait to see what you've found for us this week - thanks for playing!

What a cool building - the tall vertical lines are very dramatic and they are offset nicely by the horizontal window arcs in the middle. The lighting highlights its massive yet soft lines even better...

Our daughter required braces - how to pay for it we didn't know prior and didn't understand how we paid for them after. They were removed the summer she started college (we still don't how we figured that one out either :)

This reminds me a bit of those enormous organs that you find in cathedrals, with pipes that reach to the heavens. Nice shot - not easy to do at night.

That looks quite impressive by night, Toby.
