Here's a favorite of mine, enjoying the sun on our balcony:
I think succulents are fantastic for those of us who enjoy plants, but don't have a lot of time to take care of them - they're very low maintenance, and they always look great! These almost look like caricatures of flowers - don't you think?
As always, clicking on the photo will enlarge it. And do check out more flowers of the day here!

I love the way you photographed that cactus, so dramatic! those are cactus, right Toby?
Lovely!
Hi Toby, I agree with you that succulents are easy to maintain and they produce great flowers. I saw and photographed the flowers of this type. Maybe I can share that in my next Today's Flower post!
I also love succulents. They are very forgiving and so radiant in their beauty.

Beautiful! I love the shadows in this photo.
I agree! I don't have a garden, and plants with flowers don't always agree with me! Instead I have some succulents, both in my livingroom and kitchen!
Great shot!
Very lovely flowers. They dont need to much care that´s good when you are on holiday.

I think I had better buy some succulents. This is a great image and I thank you so much for sharing it with Today's Flowers.
Very nice! Both attractive and low maintenance; a hard combination to beat.
Thanks for coming, everyone! Just to clarify, these particular plants are not cacti - although a cactus is a kind of succulent plant. Succulent just means that they savs up water in their leaves, making them look puffy and adorable, like these :)
They have such perfect geometric shapes and yes, they are very low maintenance.
Moita Toby!
Olenko ekan kerran täällä.
