Welcome back to our little meme!
Happy Holidays and Holiday Season to all!
Here in my neighborhood, Chanuka has come to an end. But I haven't yet posted my requisite photo of our menorahs reflected in the window, so I suppose here at WWDD, we'll just have to let the festivities carry on one more week :) Here you go!
That's it for now! Have fun celebrating, no matter what it is that you're celebrating, and have a Happy New Year!
And if you'd like to play along here with us at Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! just post your photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and sign up in the widget, below :)

Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #160
Welcome back to our fun little meme!
I haven't been online much (my deep apologies to last week's WWDD players for not having time to come and see what you posted until just now) - I celebrated my birthday last week, and then my parents came to visit from overseas, and well, it's just been a little bit busy :)
But last night we had a super fun, only-in-Israel moment, as my dad nicely put it: we were at a new restaurant, and as we were finishing our meal, an announcement was made that we were all invited to light Chanuka candles together. Although we had already lit candles at home, we joined the crowd that gathered around. Everyone sang together, and then they gave out free sufganiot (jelly doughnuts) to anyone who wanted :) What fun!
To all who are celebrating - Happy Chanuka! And to everyone else - Happy Holidays, whatever and wherever they may be!
Now it's your turn! To participate in Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors, just post your photo of a window, door or anything architectural, link here, and sign up in the widget, below. Then go and visit the other players, that's the best part of all! Have a wonderful, festive, whimsical week, everyone!

Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #159
Welcome back to your favorite little meme!
Here's a sweet little bakery/coffee shop that I found opening up in downtown Jerusalem, while waiting in line across the street. So picturesque, right?

Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #158
Welcome back to our little meme!
Here's a shot of the stairwell that I was pleased to find when visiting our close friends, who recently moved into their newly renovated apartment in Jerusalem. Wow! I don't recall ever seeing a triangular stairwell before, and I find this completely mesmerizing. And yes, I confess - we took the elevator :)
There are some doors in there, too, if you look closely :)
Now it's your turn! Please play along with us here at Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #157
Welcome back to your favorite little meme!
A new movie theater opened in Jerusalem about half a year ago. It's the newest branch of an Israeli chain called Cinema City, known for its spacious and super-comfy seats. It's also got a lovely disco floor:
That's it for now :) Come to think of it, those doors would be perfect for Ruby Tuesday, is that still around? Yes, I just found it, here! Yay :)

And these gigantic disco-like chandeliers to boot!
Looking a bit closer, I realized that you can see smaller light fixtures dangling between all of those glass balls - this thing is really neat! Feel free to click on any of the photos, if you'd like a closer view.
My daughters and I didn't expect the shiny new bathrooms to blow us away. They're just so... pink!!
